Earlier this year the Surf and Music Festival 2012 announced that Pagudpod Ilocos Norte will host the event. Due to unavoidable challenges that would compromise the Surf & Music Festival experience for surf lovers and music fans, organizers for the event have decided to move the festival from Bgy. Balaoi, Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte to a more accessible venue — Bgy. Urbiztondo, San Juan, La Union.
The event will run from Oct. 31, 2012 to Nov. 3, 2012. There is a surfing competition for Longboard and beginners. They will also conduct a Surf 101 for those who want to learn basic surfing. There are a lot of bands to be performing every night at the venue; some of the popular bands are Urbandub, Pupil and Imago. DJ Joey Santos and DJ Niki Rojas will keep the beat up as they will perform during the event.
